Retired USAF
Ralph A. Gregson, Jr, 69 was born February 10, 1951
in Elkton, MD and passed away on January 18, 2021
at The Country Rest Home, Greenwood, DE after a long
battle with cancer.
Ralph was a member of the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, serving
during the Vietnam War, Desert Shield/Desert
Storm as well as numerous other classified operations.
Ralph retired as a TSgt loadmaster of the 3rd Airlift Squadron at Dover Air Force Base, DE.
Ralph had a passion for woodworking. He worked at Bayhealth Medical Center, where he was proud of his work and retired as a carpenter. Ralph was an avid NASCAR fan, who would never miss a race and cheered for his favorite driver Mark Martin.
He enjoyed volunteering at the VCF Ruritan Club for many years. He loved his family and friends more than anything and enjoyed the weekend get togethers.
Ralph was born to Grace E. Frazer Gregson of Elkton, MD and
the late Ralph A. Gregson, Sr. He leaves behind 3 siblings, Joseph Gregson(Dayna), Sandy Trowbridge (Scott), and Brian Gregson, Sr (Lisa). Ralph also leaves behind his 2 daughters, Christine Boulerice (Donald) and Jennifer Dollinger (Ty Sherwood). He proudly has 4 grandchildren,
Austin Loebe (Krysten), Alison Boulerice, Logan Dollinger, and Morgan Dollinger. In addition, Ralph left behind 1 great-grandchild that he was able to meet, Ryan Loebe and one more on the way! Ralph left behind many other Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many more that he loved.
Friday, January 22, 2021 visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover, Del. Burial will be private immediately after at Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover, Del. In consideration of protecting the family and friends health, public health guidelines are enacted for the prevention of the spread of covid-19 virus, limitations on gatherings, physical distancing, use of hand sanitation and masks are in place.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to VCF Ruritan Club, 29 Ruritan Lane, Viola DE 19979
