Deepest condolences from the McDermott family are with you all at this very sad time. No greater friendship existed than that of our parents. They were friends in Massachusetts and with the move of General Foods, settled in the same neighborhood to raise their families and continue their friendship. My heart was always warmed by their closeness. When our father passed, your Mom was like a sister to my own Mom...always a listening ear and a "ride" when Mom's health began to fail.
You Dad always brought joy into every room and after he passed, we knew that he and our Dad resumed their friendship in Heaven...we could hear the laughter if we listened close!
Your Mom will always remain in our hearts. The McPhee "home" will always be just that. While we will miss her physical presence, we know just where she is! Hopefully, there was a big reunion last night.
