Maryann was a good friend. Condolences to her family. Sorry I didn’t know sooner of her passing. Loved to hear her singing. Wish her American Legion Family could have made an attempt to reach out to her friends both in the legion and at her Post Walter Fox Post 2. Seems to be a divide at that Post.
Over a year ago, my husband and I became members of the American Legion Post #2 and we met Maryann. She processed our membership packet and made us feel very welcomed. She was eager to give us a tour of the post. Her smiles, humor and warm greeting's made us feel appreciated to be members of a prestigious organization. We will miss her and her warm welcomes to the post.
Mary Ann will be missed so much. Her devotion and caring for others was contagious. She volunteered so much time in the American Legion Auxiliary. Rest In Peace and prayers to her family.
Mary Ann was my mentor in the American Legion Auxiliary Post 2 Dover, De. She convinced me to run for Dept President which I did and she was there for me all the way. She will be missed that’s for sure may she Rest in Peace 🙏
