Karen Jean Thomas, 69 of Leipsic, Delaware passed from this life on August 26, 2021 in her childhood home in Leipsic, DE. Karen was born on October 30, 1951 in Dover, Delaware. She was the pride and joy and only child of Robert El Read Obituary
Karen was a giving, gentle soul with a kind heart. I first met Karen on the bookmobile many years ago when I was a substitute for one of the drivers. She was friendly with a smile and eager to pick out a book. Karen could always give the best concise prayer at Roby’s UMC prayer group! She will be missed by the many people who knew and loved her.
Kindest - Most joyful person I’ve met in awhile…She was always quick to inquire about my cats and well being, and I know she loved her cat Scout. Amazingly generous person - always offering a a hand….she will be missed.
I really liked her She was a good person. Be Happy you found the Pearly Gates to Heaven.
I always remembered Karen’s birthday being in October because as kids, we would be invited to her birthday/Halloween parties held in her father’s garage.
On nice days when we were younger, I would always see Karen sitting outside on a blanket enjoying the sunshine.
I graduated with Karen but unfortunately don’t remember her from many of my classes.
I know Karen was very dedicated to God and to the Leipsic Church. I am sure her presence will surely be missed.
