Joshua Paul Courts, 23
Dover – Joshua Paul Courts, of Dover, was suddenly called home to be with the Lord on June 3, 2016. Born in Baltimore on April 17, 1993, he lived in the Mayfair Area. He grew up attending Grace Presbyterian Church and graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 2011. He acquired his Associate’s Degree from Delaware Technical Community College and was currently completing his last year at Wilmington University studying Criminal Justice. Josh’s youthful activities included soccer, flag football, Young Life, Caesar Rodney FFA, and leading Children’s Church at Grace Church (PCA).
He had worked in various restaurants to include Kirby’s Diner, The Greene Turtle, The Grey Fox, and most recently Fins Ale House in Rehoboth Beach. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors: activities ranged from camping with his brother and his Uncle Paul, snowboarding with Shane, hiking with Christine, fishing with Stefanie and Jay, and the beach with everyone! Joshua loved Jesus, loved people, and loved life 1440 minutes a day.
He was predeceased by his great grandparents, his paternal grandparents, and Uncle Todd Robinson. Joshua is survived by his parents, Bill and Michelle Courts, maternal grand parents, Marge & Jerry Mastin, his brother Eric Courts and girlfriend Sarah Mitchell, his sister and brother-in-law Alicia and Ben Osborn with nephew to be, Colton Joshua, three aunts, two uncles, three cousins, and innumerous friends throughout Delaware and beyond.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday 6/11/16 at 2:00pm, with preceding visitation/viewing starting at 12:00 noon, at Grace Church (PCA), 350 McKee Rd, Dover, DE, 19904. Repast to follow in the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be sent to Central Delaware Young Life, CRHS FFA, or Grace Church/Youth Ministries. Burial will be private.
