The first word that comes to mind when I think about Jean is "solid". I had the pleasure of working with her for several years in the early 1990s. She was a true professional. She was intelligent, insightful, balanced, and could always be depended upon. Whatever she took on, she could be counted on to do it correctly and expeditiously. And she buttressed her professionalism with a very nice, understated, sense of humor. She was truly a delightful companion and I already miss her.
