Its taken me a while to sit down and write this message. I've actually tried a few times, unsuccessfully. I've known the Unterkofler family since I was a little girl. I can remember going swimming at the base pool with them and spending time with all of them. As of just about three years ago, I went and saw Mr. and Mrs. Unterkofler. It was like I had never even left. Neither one of them had changed a bit. We sat for a long time reminiscing, laughing and finding it hard to believe that all of us kids were now grown and most of us with kids.....wondering where the time had gone. It broke my heart to hear of Mr. Unterkofler passing away. My dad called to tell me as soon as he heard. It made me wish that I didn't live so far away. I do want to tell you how very sorry I am and wish that I could have been there. I always think of your family and will hold you close to my heart. And the next time that I'm home, I'll be sure to come by and see you.
