Dorothy May Hall Pardee's Obituary
Dorothy Pardee (April 22, 1932-February 6, 2017)
Dorothy May Hall Pardee, daughter of George and Mary Hall of Kent County, Delaware, left the troubles of this life behind on February 6, 2017 after an extended illness. She married her first love, Stephen T. Pardee, Sr., and they resided in Delaware for their entire lives together, first in Dover and then in Bowers Beach. Dorothy continued living in their Bowers Beach home after Stephen’s death until she moved to Oregon for the last year of her life. She was a dedicated homemaker with two well-loved children, Stephen T. Pardee, Jr. (Wilmington, Delaware) and Shiela Pardee (Eugene, Oregon). Dorothy was a sensitive, private person who loved flowers and country music.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister Irene Harvey, and she is survived by her brother William W. Hall (Bowers Beach, Delaware). Her five grandchildren are Joshua Pardee (Hartly, Delaware), Eric Pardee (Hartly, Delaware), Aaron Siemanowski (Newark, Delaware), Benjamin Siemanowski (Bellingham, Washington), and Teresa Siemanowski (Eugene, Oregon). She was also blessed with fourteen great-grandchildren. We will all miss her lovely smile.
Visitation for family and friends will be at Trader Funeral Home on Monday, February 13th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Instead of flowers, the family requests contributions to Bowers Beach Volunteer Fire Company or the Modern Maturity Center MANNA Meals on Wheels program.
