Donald Allen Tucholski's Obituary
On Sunday, December 21, 2025, Donald Allen Tucholski went home to be with the Lord at the age of 63. He is survived by his son Donald Allen Tucholski, Jr. Donald was born on December 29, 1961, in Oahu, Hawaii. He was the fourth of the five children born to Adam Steven Tucholski and Corinne Ella Henry. He joined the United States Navy in 1981. After completing Radioman Class “A School” training, Donald was assigned to the USS Coronado (AGF-11) and served on numerous ships throughout his career. Donald earned the distinctive United States Navy's Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) pin. As a proud Navy Veteran completing a 20-year career, Donald served during the Cold War and Gulf War Eras. After retiring from the military in July 2002, Donald started a new career with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) working as a Transportation Security Officer. Years later, he was transferred to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within DHS and retired after 21 years of distinguished service. Donald found great joy in providing for this family and putting in an honest hard day’s work. During the 2000’s, Donald also enjoyed playing and coaching baseball and basketball. He enjoyed staying busy and engaged in daily tasks, often offering guidance to younger family members. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Adam. “Donny” is survived by his mother, Corinne, his brother Steven, and sisters Carol, Deborah, and Sandra.
A Celebration of Donald’s Life, including a memorial service with military honors, will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sharon Hills Memorial Park in Dover, DE.
