William Bill Livesey's Obituary
William "Bill" T. Livesey 53 of Newark, DE passed away on March 6th at Christiana Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Bill was born on December 19, 1972, in Chester, PA to Bill and Denise Livesey. They moved to Wilmington when Bill was 4.Bill worked for Verizon for 25 years retiring in 2022. Bill also started working at Midnight Oil Brewing Company in 2018. He started there cleaning kegs. Seven years later you could find him anywhere from the brew house to pouring beers behind the bar or out in the public making sales calls. This is also where he got the name Koala and would proudly show you his picture hanging in the tap room. Midnight Oil was not a job but a passion that he grew to love more each day. Bill and his wife Kathy were married in 1999 at Disney's Wedding Pavilion. They both shared a love for Disney, and it was truly a fairy tale wedding. Bill was a die-hard Phillies fan. That is something else he and his wife shared. If there was a game he was not attending in person, he was on the couch watching it. His cats would sit with him and watch the entire game. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Kathy Livesey, his parents Bill and Denise Livesey, his in-laws Trish Ennis and Ron Porter, his girls Duffy, Bella and Maude and his MOBC family, also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. A Catholic mass will be held on March 17th at St. Elizabeths 809 S Broom St, Wilmington, DE. There will be a visitation from 9-11 with a mass following at 11. Please dress casually and wear your favorite Phillies jersey or other team. This was his favorite time of year with opening day coming up soon. Please remove all hats once the mass begins. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of Bill to Faithful Friends 165 Airport Rd. New Castle, DE 19720
