Thomas A Mench, 90 Died at silver lake nursing home. Mr mench was born in Chestertown Md. April 22, 1927 to the late William and Hallie Joiner Mench. He was a U.S Navy veteran of WW2 and Korean war, serving overseas in China, Japan and Hawaii. Mr mench was a truck driver for Carruth and sons inc. for many years. He enjoyed eating crabs and BBQ and friends, family. Mr Mench was the member of The American Legion post 36 for 59 years in Chestertown MD. In addition of his parents he was preceded in death by his son Thomas A. Mench JR (Pete) in 1994, A brother Wm Arthur Mench and John Mench And Doris Slagle. He is survived by a daughter in law Martha E Mench of Dover, A Grandson Thomas J And Candi Mench Of Milford, Granddaughter Tina ( Mench) and Teddy Escobar of Dover and A Great Grandson Logan J mench Of milford. Sat. Nov. 25, 2017, A Visitation will be 11 A.M. Service will start 12 P.M At traders 12 Lotus Street Dover DE. Burial will be in Chester Cemetery, Chestertown.
