Thomas Michael Maguire, Sr.'s Obituary
Thomas Michael Maguire Sr (Tom) born June 19, 1957 passed away on June 11, 2016 surrounded by his children. Tom graduated from Pennridge High School in 1976. After high school he graduated from Bucks County Vocational Technical School with Aviation Maintenance Technology. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary B. Maguire, father Francis J. Maguire Sr., brother Francis J Maguire Jr., and son Eli Levy. Tom worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many years. Tom also was a fuel delivery man who enjoyed biscuits & gravy with a cup of coffee at most stops. Tom devoted his life to helping and giving back to the community. Starting in younger years being the president of the Bucks Co. JC’s club, and assistant Boy Scout leader of Troop 263. He was a Vol. fireman for West Collingswood Heights, NJ. Tom more recently was an active member of the Hartly Volunteer Fire Company for past 11 years and fire police for 8 years. He also served on the fundraising committee as chairman. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and beloved dog Sarg. You would never catch him without his Royal Farms coffee and story time. Tom is survived by his children Theresa Maguire and partner Jesse Crunk of Hartly DE, Thomas Maguire Jr. and partner Brittney Salanzo of Hartly DE, Amanda & Daniel Weimer of Hartly DE, Mark & Amy Maguire of Hartly DE. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, a niece of Alamogordo NM and a nephew of Norristown PA. Tom will be laid to rest on June 17, 2016 with a full firemen’s funeral. Viewing will be from 11:00am-1:00pm with services starting at 1:00pm at the Hartly Volunteer Fire Company (2898 Arthursville Rd). Burial will follow at Sharon Hill Memorial Park.
