Susan M McClean's Obituary
Susan M. McClean (Bennett), 64, passed away December 12th in the comfort of her childhood home in Marydel, DE after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. Susan was born January 8th, 1956, the daughter of William and Connie Bennett. She lived in DE all her life and graduated from Dover High School, class of 1974. She had excellent work ethic and was a Produce Manager of Super Fresh where she eventually retired. She was a dedicated mother above all else and she treasured her children & grandchildren. She especially loved her role as Mom mom. In her free time she loved to listen to music and to spend time with her family. She will always be remembered for her contagious smile. Susan is survived by her mother, Connie Bennett; her brothers, Brian and Kevin Bennett; her sister, Diane Bennett; her daughter, Shannon McClean; nieces, Renee Cumens and Gabrielle Bennett; and three precious grandchildren, Heighlee, Carter, and Jordan. She was preceded in death by her father, William Bennett; her husband, Pat McClean; her brother, Ronnie Bennett; and her son, Bradley McClean. Graveside services will be Wed. Dec. 30 at 1PM at Odd Fellows Cemetery Camden, DE Family and Friends may do a pass through visit at the funeral home from 11:30 to 12:30. In consideration of protecting the family and friends health, public health guidelines enacted for the prevention of the spread of covid-19 virus, limitations on gatherings, physical distancing, use of hand sanitation and masks are in place.
