Steve Dejesse's Obituary
Steve DeJesse, 68, of Dover, Delaware passed peacefully with his wife, Donna, by his side on July 15, 2026. He was born May 20, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Steve was 1 of 5 siblings.
Steve is survived by his wife, Donna (Turgeon). His son, Joseph (Bronya Peterson). His grandchildren (Jayson, Sydney, and Keely Riches), He is also survived by his brother, Micheal (Louise DeJesse). His sisters, Maria (Chris Frank) and Marlene Valentine.Steve is preceded in death by his father, Peter. His mother, Mary, His sister, Rosie and his grandson, Dante Thibault.
Steve attended the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania from 1962 to 1976. While attending the Milton Hersey School, he enjoyed playing for their ice hockey team.
After graduating he became employed by the state of New Jersey Mosquito Commission as a Senior Inspector. Steve remained employed there for 30 years.before retiring.
In most recent years, you could find Steve on the golf course with his favorite 9 iron. He was an avid Philly sports fan. He enjoyed watching an Eagles game or a Phillies game, while relaxing at home with his wife.
A memorial service in his honor will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 2 PM. Friends and family are asked to participate in his memory at Trader Funeral Home, Inc. Located at 12 Lotus Street, Dover Delaware 19901.
