Shirley Martin's Obituary
Shirley E. Martin, 81, Felton, passed away Wednesday July 06, 2016 at her home with family.
She was born on May 30, 1935 in Washington D.C. to the late Raymond and Edith Keys King.
She was a member of Air Force SGTS Aux. and VFW Aux. She attended Immanuel UMC in Townsend, DE. She worked at Dover Air Force Bace High School in the food service 1964-1969. Also worked at Lake Forest High School food service as manager 1969-1978, Wharton & Barnard, and volunteered for DAFB Pharmacy. She enjoyed gardeing, sewing and reading. Preceded in death by sister Lorraine Simonds, Niece Shirley Merica, nephew Michael Simonds.
She is survived by Daughter, Lorraine (John) Derrickson of Felton, DE. Adoptive Daughters, Debra Simpson of Harrington, DE. Angela Lavere of Felton, DE Grand children, Dan Kropf of Felton, DE. Any Kropf of Stockton, NJ. Richard Donophan of Magnolia, DE. Step grand daughter, Laurie Kropf of Dover, DE. Great Grand children, Alaunra Norris, Darya Kropf, Gabrielle Kropf, Kristen Kropf, Nick Kropf, Adam Kropf, Nephew, Raymond (Alice) Simonds, Nephew, David Merica.
Services will be held Wed. 07/13/2016 11 AM at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cem. Millsboro, DE 1 PM.
Friends may also call Wed. from 10 AM to11 AM at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
