Shauna D Thompson's Obituary
Camden, DE — Shauna Thompson, a long-time resident of the Camden, Delaware area, died Sunday, the 24th of April at Milford Center.
Born in 1958 in Carlsbad, NM, Shauna received her LPN degree in Nursing from DTCC.
Shauna worked at various jobs including a Radio Station, Household Finance, had a home daycare (which was her favorite job as she loved children & they loved her). She worked as a LPN at Manor Care Nursing Home in Christiana, DE where she worked until her retirement.
Shauna loved her family and especially her sons, grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was very kind hearted and a giving person. She was loved by many and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeril M.Gray, SR. and Evelyn Marshall Gray. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ronald L. Thompson; sons Lee Thompson (Kristin) & Chase Thompson(Jamie); Four Grandchildren: Emma, Ethan, Anna, and Katie. Sisters Penny Callaway (Bobby), Gwen Dill (John), Tricia Barber (Bruce), Brother Jerry Gray (Lorilyn). Mother-In-Law Doris Thompson; Brother-In-Laws Bobby & Ricky Thompson and several nieces and nephews. .
A celebration of Shauna’s life will be held Friday, April 29th at the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Hall at 2 North Main Street Magnolia, DE 19962. Friends and family may gather at 6pm with ceremony beginning at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trader Funeral Home at 12 Lotus St. Dover, DE to defray final expenses.
