So sorry to hear, she was a great person. I worked with her at D.H.C.I and met her at the goodwill in Dover all the time. She was very proud of her family and spoke of them often. You have my deepest sympathy.

Ruth Ann was an exceptional person, and nurse. Her residents adored her. In fact even bringing her coffee each morning when they visited the canteen. She had an infectious smile and laugh. Fond memories working with her at DHCI. Nothing but respect for her kind soft spoken manner. I had the pleasure of seeing her briefly in July. Still sweet as always . May God provide comfort to all her family. Linda Robinson
I worked with Ruth for several years until her retirement at DHCI. She was a great nurse who cared deeply for her patients, staff and her family. She was also a good friend. She will be missed. To all of her family may you find peace in all of your wonderful memories.

From all you’ve shared over the years, Jo Ann, I know your mother was a very special and valuable person in your life. I share this photo as a beautiful memory of how much she loved you and your beautiful family! She will always be with you, always.
There’s a special place in all of our hearts for our mothers, just like there’s a special place in every mother’s heart for her children. I know that you will continue to carry mama’s memory in that special place in your heart.
I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your mother, Jo-Ann and Libby. –
My thoughts are with you and your family at this time.
Mrs Mitchell was my nurse at DHCI for many years such a sweet person and friend she loved her family very much and she will be missed by all such sadness to hear of her passing and I hope the family can find peace

Ruth Ann Mitchell was a second Mom to me growing up! I have such fond memories spending time at their home with my best friend Jo Ann. She was one of the kindest people I have ever met. Mama always loved having Libby and Jo Ann's friends around, she treated us as part of the family. You will be dearly missed Mama!!!
