Ronald Nolan Kenton's Obituary
Ronald Nolan Kenton - Dover 70.
Pass away on March 31, 2014 at Kent General / Bay Health Hospital, Dover.
He was born on January 7, 1944 in Dover, Delaware to the late Samuel and Catherine Jane Creadick Kenton, Jr.
He attended Fort Union Military Academy in Virginia for his sophomore and junior year.
He returned to Dover and graduated form Dover High School in 1962.
He was a member of the 50th reunion committee and was instrumental in making a CD of the entire 3 days of activities.
His classmates are very appreciative of his countless hours of work on that project.
His career was lending and banking until two year ago when he took a job in the garden department at Lowe's of Dover.
It was not a job to him, it was a passion because of his love of growing things.
He had many and vavied interests, including but not limited to sports, show cars, music, modern technology and most of all his yard, flowers and plants.
He was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him.
He embraced life, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son James B. Kenton, his nephew Gregory A. Whitham.
Survived by his sister Yvonne G. Biddle
Grand daughter Veronica Dennis,
Two nieces Olivia and Emily Biddle
His compassionate and loving friend and caregiver Marjanna Duckworth.
Also his two dogs Lady and Layden.
Friends may call on Sunday afternoon form 12 noon at the Trader Funeral Home Inc., 12 Lotus Street, Dover, Delaware.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm in the funeral home.
Burial will be at Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover, De.
