Roberta Bobbi Whitham's Obituary
Roberta (Bobbi) Lee Ferguson Whitham, 66, of Milford and Dover, Delaware, passed away December 9, 2015 at Kent General Hospital. Bobbi was born on July 26, 1949, in Chester, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Sis and Bob Ferguson, and sister of Tom and Chet.
In her work life, she worked many years at L.D. Caulk Dentsply in Milford. She also enjoyed teaching ceramics, reading and volunteering at the library, listening to music, reading Celtic folklore, and creating works of art. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She loved spending time with them, going to their birthday parties, babysitting them, doing art projects with them, Skyping, watching videos and photos of them on Facebook, talking to them on the phone, and letting them have their way no matter what they wanted. One of her favorite things to do was to shop for toys and other gifts, and send boxes in the mail for each child. She was also very proud of them. She loved them immensely and unconditionally, and they loved her as much in return, and will miss her tremendously.
Bobbi is survived by grandchildren Gabriel, Morgan, Benjamin, Elisabeth, Johnathon, Rowan, Elowen, and Brittani; children John and Tommi; and husband Leroy.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, at Lincoln United Methodist Church, 8641 2nd Street, Lincoln, Delaware, 19960.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests acts of kindness to others.
