Robert Mikel Barlow, 66Robert Mikel Barlow, of Frederica, Delaware passed away Tuesday December 29, 2020 surrounded by his family.He was born July 14, 1954 in Champaign, Illinois, to the late Thomas L. Barlow and June C. Barlow.He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen A. Barlow, by two sons, Robert A. Barlow and Branden J. Barlow, as well as Daughter-in-law Stephanie D. Barlow. He is survived by the apple his eye, his granddaughter Rosalie A. Barlow. Also, he is survived by his older brother, Thomas W. Barlow.Robert proudly served 20 years in the United States Navy, while serving and being a plank owner of the USS Theodore Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier. After the Navy, he served 10 years as a correctional officer for the Delaware Department of Correction.He had many passions and interests. This included: reading (history, fiction, and non-fiction) sports ( Yankees, Jaguars, Jets, Bruins, and Celtics), and visiting different historical sites. He was an avid follower of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, listening to them most days. Though of all things in life, being a devoted Christian and trying to grow his relationship with the Lord everyday was his favorite thing to do.
