Richard A. Lambert, Sr., 68, Smyrna, A great servant of God went into the arms of his loving Savour Jesus Saturday December 21, 2013 at Christinia Medical Center Wilmington.
He was born on August 07, 1945 in West Jefferson, NC to the late Preston and Blanche Mullis Lambert.
Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grand father, and pastor. He had served in the ministry for 43 years. He pastored the former Remnant Church in Wilmington, DE, The Bread of Life Church in Dover, DE and most recently for 18 years the Solid Rock Church in Hartly, DE. He is preceded in death by his son Larry Lambert.
Survivors: He was married to his wife Ann Marie Lambert for 50 years, she lives in Smyrna, DE. His Son who now Pastors the Solid Rock Church, Richard A. and wife Lisa Lambert, Jr. of Dover, DE. Daughter, Deborah and her husband Rudy Potter of Hartly, DE. Grand children, Danaya Lambert, Josh Barton, Ashley Potter, NiChelle Potter, Alanna Potter, Jena Melvin, Samara Potter, Isaiah Potter. Great Grandson, Austin LaFace.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held Sat. 01/04/2014 11 AM at Solid Rock Church 807 Hazlettville Road Hartly, DE A private service and burial will be with family members.
