I am a 2nd cousin of Linda Sperry; from the Pospisil side of the family; while I have never met Richard, I just found out about this after an inadvertent interruption in our communications and wish to offer my sincere condolences to Linda and family.........Richard A. Pisz, Union, NJ
Richard and I were the best of friends throughout our common employment with Lear Siegler/Smiths Aerospace (later GE Aviation after Richards retirement). Richard and I shared work on F-4's. F-5's, A-4's and C-130's - mostly for the U.S. Air Force but also foreign Air Force organizations. His assignment to Ramstein AFB for support of U.S. Air Force C-130 overhaul and repair was a terrific one with very good security. Some of us were just plain envious. He was a highly capable technician but also very good with cards. I played cribbage with him several years and contributed significantly to his leisure budget. Richard now has a much more terrific and secure assignment Lotsa luck my friend.
Linda, We are so sorry to hear about your loss. We so much appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness of you both, and will certainly miss Richard. May warm memories surround you and may God keep you in His perfect peace.

I will always remember Richard for his kindness to Ellen Trier and me when we would come over to admire the garden or help. He was a knowledgeable Native Plant person who had many interesting and beautiful plants.
I will always remember my cousin Richard. We enjoyed moments together which I will revisit when I want to warm my heart.
