Reviva Ann PENNY Rodimak's Obituary
She was a member of The Hartly United Methodist Church. She spent most of her life enjoying the fellowship of all her church family. She was devoted to her religion and would attend every Sunday morning she was able. She was a Sunday school teacher and loved planning events with her church family.
Penny was a life member of the Hartly Ladies Auxiliary, having served for 52 years. She held many offices throughout the years, up to and including President.
She then used her experience and advanced through the chairs of the Kent County Ladies Auxiliary, serving as President. Penny's dedication prompted her
to then go on to become President of the Delaware Volunteer Fire Association. She served on numerous committees for all organizations and expanded her service
to become President of the Delmarva Ladies Auxiliary. She was proud to serve and cherished this time in her life. Penny had worked at Outten Brothers Furniture in Dover and Faulkner's Store at Pearsons Coner and Byler's Store.
She is proceeded in death by her parents James Michael and Mary Elizabeth Rodimak, her sister Brenda Leigh Wingle, her niece Kathy Wingle and her brother-in-law Joseph (Jay) Wingle. Left to mourn her loss are her sister Frances K. Callaway, niece Stacey Marie Larimore, her nephews Robert Michael Wingle, John Albert Callaway III, Christopher Michael Callaway, Gary Lee Callaway, Stephan Craig Callaway and his wife Brittany, her great nieces Christina Callaway and Taylor Larimore, her great nephews Dillain Callaway, James Falcon', Cameron Larimore, Leo Dill and Charles Callaway.
Penny's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her very close friends Barbara Metheny, Katherine Oneal and Linda Nickerson. Their help over the past few years will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held at Hartly Volunteer Fire Company.
Friends can pay their respects Thursday Aug. 1, from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.
Service will be Thursday Aug. 1, from 3:00pm until 4:00pm.
