Rebecca Michelle Wynn's Obituary
Rebecca (Becky) Wynn, age 71, of Greenwood, DE passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dover, DE on August 8, 1952 to the late Clyde Hinebaugh, Sr. and Jane (Hardy) Hinebaugh. She worked for many years for Caroline County Public Schools and retired from Some Guy’s Bagels in Dover, DE in 2014. Becky’s love was her grandchildren; she relished her time with them, attending their sporting events, and making sure everyone was well fed in Na Na’s kitchen. She also spent her days spoiling her cocker spaniel, Evan, whom she affectionately called her “Baby Dumplin’.”
Becky was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Shelby Mathis and brother-in-law, Gary Wynn. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, John (Jack) Wynn, Sr., a daughter, Cindy Mathis of Middletown, DE., and two sons, John Wynn, Jr. and wife April of Crossville, TN, and Robert Wynn and wife Natalie of Greenwood, DE.; 7 grandchildren, Tyler Mathis, Caitlyn Mathis, Shyann Soja, Andrew Wynn, Aidan Mathis, Madilyn Wynn, and Cameron Wynn; a sister, Barbara Kersey (Charles) of Greenwood, DE., and two brothers, Clyde Hinebaugh, Jr. (Theresia) of Ellendale, DE., and Ashley Hinebaugh (Carolyn), of Dover, DE.; and a sister-in-law, LuAnn Wynn of West Chester, PA.
A visitation will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St, Dover, DE. Service will begin at 11 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 35 Rising Sun Rd, Camden, DE. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.traderfh.com
