Smyrna- Ralph A. Shoemaker, III of Smyrna passed away on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014
Ralph was born on June 13, 1973 in Dover, DE son of Ralph A. Shoemaker, Jr. and the late Gina S. (correll) Shoemaker.
He was a 1991 graduate of Smyrna High School, where he excelled in his passion for track and football, helping to carry the track team to many championships. After graduating he realized another passion for creating, building and working outdoors as a contractor and then on to a trim and tile specialist. He really enjoyed watching sports, especially Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Phillies. To know him was to love him. He had a really big heart. Still sharing the sports section of the paper almost every morning with his dad. Spending time with his family was a really big part of his life. He is survived by his father, Ralph A. Shoemaker, Jr. of Smyrna, his girlfriend, Lucia M. White and their two daughters, Alison Mace 15, and Stephanie L. Shoemaker 3, all of Smyrna, a sister and brother in law Jennifer Shoemaker and Gordon Fletcher of Hartly a sister Christine M. Shoemaker of Hartly and 10 nieces and nephews that all admired and adored him, two aunts and an uncle all of TX and an aunt Gloria Jean (Jeanne) Saunders of Harrington He is preceded in death by his mother Gina Shoemaker and baby daughter Rachel Eve Shoemaker.
