Phyllis D Buroff's Obituary
Phyllis D. Buroff of Wyoming passed away on Thursday January 21, 2016 at Kent General Hospital. She was 75. She was born January 24, 1940 in Dover, the daughter of the late Alfred S. Willey, Lillian Parker and Mabel Williams.
Phyllis worked many years for NAFMOB at Dover A.F.B., Charleston A.F.B., and Altus A.F.B. She worked and retired as a Lowes Associate in St. Peters Missouri. Phyllis loved to shop, play bingo, and people watch. She was an avid sports fan, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Chief Master Sgt. Stuart W. Buroff and brother, Alfred (Tabby) Willey.
Phyllis is survived by her loving children, son, Wayne A. Bevins of Wyoming and daughters, Kim Rochford and husband Marty of Dover and April Bevins Flores and husband Steve (Donte) of St. Peters, MO. As well as her brother Harold Willey and wife Nita of Wyoming, and sisters Carol Carter of Viola, and Janet James of Milford. Her caring step-sons Jeff Buroff of Hilliard OH, Tracy Buroff of Columbus OH, and Eric Buroff of Louisville, NE.
Phyllis was very proud of her doting grandchildren Shannon Rochford of Dover, Ashley Teeter of Rochester NY, Kristina Drago and husband Jeremy of Dover, Kayla Bevins of St. Peters MO, Adam Flores of St. Peters MO, Philip Bevins of Dover, Hannah Buroff of Columbus OH, and Logan Buroff of Columbus OH.
A special place in her heart was held for her precious great grandchildren, Bruce, Jeremy Jr, Kayden, Lucy, Lily, Finn Patrick, Annastasia, Aaliya, and Baby Charlie.
Friends may call from 11-1 Thursday, 1-28, at Trader Funeral Home Inc, 12 Lotus St, Dover, DE.
Services will be at 1pm Thursday, 1-28, in the funeral home. Burial will be at Odd Fellow Cemetery, Camden, DE.
