Pearl M. Leslie, 81
Hartly – Pearl M. Leslie of Hartly passed away
Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Delaware Hospice Center,
Milford, De. She was 81
She was born May 14, 1936 in Magnolia, daughter of
The late Oda and Cynthia (Sapp) Sipple.
She attended Dover High School and worked for Playtex,
Capital School district (food service), family farm and
Produce stand.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, Alonza,
Fred, Maurice and Edward of Leipsic and two sisters
Violet S. Dooley of Cretz, France and Elizabeth (Polly) Carey
Of Leipsic.
She is survived by her husband, Harry W. Leslie Jr. of 62 years
And three sons Joseph H. Leslie (Paula) of Dover, Harry W. “Bill” Leslie III
(Dorothy) of Hartly, Jack E. Leslie (Darlene) of Hartly and a
Granddaughter Joanna Leslie of Clayton.
Her hobbies included camping, making crafts, watching (Phillies) baseball,
Gardening, visiting the beach, playing and singing country music while
Playing the guitar, eating crabs, crocheting, observing wildlife and
Collecting arrowheads.
Pearl was a kind, thoughtful and loving soul who was adored by many who
Knew her.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 with visitation at
11 a.m. in the Traders Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St. Dover. Burial will immediately
Follow at Sharon Hill cemetery, Dover.
