Patricia Ann Ford-Benitez, 55, Dover, passed away Tuesday May 19, 2015 at her home with family.
She was born on June 10, 1959 in Milford, DE to Christopher and Doretta Thompson Ford, Jr.
Patty worked at Courtland Manor as a home health aide. She attened Willow Grove Church of God through childhood. She enjoyed football and her favorite team was the "Colts". She enjoyed watching Big Brother and Bachelor. She is preceded in death by her mother Doretta Ford in May 2013 and brother Christopher T. Ford, III. in Jan. 2005.
She is survived by Father, Christopher T. Ford, Jr. of Wyoming, DE. Son, Robert Benitez of Dover, DE. Son, Kevin Benitez of Dover, DE. Daughter, Christina Garcia of Dover, DE. Daughter, Melissa Summers of Dover, DE. Brother, Scott Ford of Wyoming, DE. Sister, Donna Massey of Dover, DE. Sister, Gladys Norton of Dover, DE. grandchildren, Robert, Samantha, James, Jaelynn, Tori, Maddie, Felix, Zoei, Fiance Tom Beenick of Dover, DE.
Remembrance Services will be held Tuesday 05/26/2015 1:30 PM at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE with Pastor Dallas Glass officiating. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park Dover, DE
Friends may call from 11:30 till time of the service at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
The family would like to thank the nurses on the 4th floor at KGH and Christiana Care for the care provided during her time of illness.
