Patricia E. Conklin's Obituary
Patricia “Pat” (Banks) Conklin passed away peacefully on April 25, 2023, at the age of 77. Pat was born on January 31, 1946, to Martin and Elizabeth Banks of Bowers Beach, Delaware. Pat was preceded in death by her Father, Martin Banks, and her Mother, Elizabeth Banks. Pat was raised in Bowers Beach along with her siblings, Martin “Butch” Banks, Sue Potter, and Jean Mumford. She graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1964. Pat graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Wesley College in 1999. Pat enjoyed two careers during her lifetime. She was employed by Playtex for 37 years and retired in 2001. She then pursued a second career in Social Work for individuals with developmental disabilities. Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother. In her younger years, Pat loved to work in her flowerbeds, have summer cookouts, and spend time in her pool. In her later years, Pat enjoyed working and spending time with her grandson, Jake. She especially loved to watch him play lacrosse. Pat is survived by her daughter, Stacey Mollohan; grandson, Jacob Mollohan and his girlfriend, Julianna Kolakowski; brother, Martin “Butch” Banks and his wife, Vicki Banks; sisters, Sue Potter and her husband, Pete Potter, and Jean Mumford and her husband, John Mumford; and several nieces and nephews. Per Pat’s wishes, services will be private.
