Nellie C. Tinley, 92, Smyrna, passed away Monday June 9, 2014 at her home surrounded with loving family.
She was born on January 27, 1922 in Rock Hall, MD to the late Wilmer and Edith Harten Crouch.
Nellie was a graduate of James H. Groves High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years Joseph E. Tinley, Jr. her older sister Grace Cassell, younger sister Mary Taylor, and grandson Charles W. Cassell, Jr.
She is survived by Daughter, Mary Ann Thinly of Myrna, DE. Daughter, Marie Leaguer of Myrna, DE. Son and his wife, Bill and Nancy Cass ell of Myrna, DE. Niece and her husband, Marietta and Wayne Levin of Abnegation, VA. Niece and her husband, Ellen and Rich Noyes of McKinney, TX. Nephew, Charles Tinley of Cambridge, MD. Younger Brother and his wife, Charles and Helen Crouch of Kingwood, WV. Grandsons, James Leager, Michael Leager, Jeff Leager, Grand daughters Cindy Daniels, Cathy Shaner, Cheryl Hurlock, Carla Carter, Carol Rhodes, 20 Great Grand children and 16 Great Great Grand Children.
Friends may call Friday June 13, 2014 from 11 to 12 at Trader Funeral Home 12 Lotus Street Dover, DE
Burial will be private at Odd Fellows Cemetery Camden, DE
