Nell F. Halada's Obituary
Nell Ferris Halada, of Dover, Delaware passed away peacefully on April 4th, 2025. Nell was born July 15th, 1936 in Spotsylvania, Virginia. She is survived by her three daughters, Theresa Meade, Kathleen Baskin and Valerie Smith as well as 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Nell moved to Dover in 1966 with her predeceased husband, Michael S Halada. Nell retired from civil service where she worked at Dover Air Force Base for many years. Nell loved to quilt, sew and read. She was a member of a local quilting club for many years and created many beautiful and exquisitely crafted quilts over her lifetime.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
