Nanell Nancy Godwin's Obituary
Nanell “Nancy” Godwin has gone to be with her lord. She was 81. She resided with her daughter in Lewes Delaware.
Nanell was born in Tulsa Oklahoma and prior to Lewes Delaware she spent many years in Lincoln Delaware. She originally retired in Kitts Hammock Delaware.
She was the owner of the Lynnhaven rest home from 1972 – 1984 in Pedricktown, NJ. She was a Pharmacy Technician for both Edgehill and Happy Harry’s in Dover Delaware until she retired in 2004. After retirement she spent most of her time volunteering at the Milford Memorial Hospital for her efforts she was awarded the president award for volunteers
She is proceeded in death by her late husband Hiram D Godwin jr, in 2005 and grandson Jacob Tighe in 2013.
She is survived by three daughters, Jody Rinnier, June Godwin, Carol Heesh and son in law David Heesh. She had five grandchildren, Jeremy Crawford, Jayna Mcgonagle Jesse J. Todd, Justin Kaczalek and Zachary Heesh. Five great grandchildren, Kendall, Gabe, Charli, Claire and Max.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trader Funeral Home, Dover De on July 15, 2017. Visitors are welcome between 12:00 to 1:00 the service will begin at 1:00.
