Mildred Millie Morgan's Obituary
Mildred (Millie) Oleta Morgan, aged 94, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Shannon Shahan of Vernon Road, Harrington Delaware. Mildred was born to the late William Marshall and Lillian Wyatt on November 16, 1922 in Kent Island, Maryland.
Her spirit is carried on by four children, Julie Sonnenshein, Ann Charlene Anderson, Franklin Jeffery Morgan and Shannon Shahan, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. She leaves them with the knowledge that they were truly loved.
She was a feisty 94-year-old, a devoted Christian, Prayer Warrior, Mother and Friend. From her mouth to God’s ears. Strong in faith and heart having to raise three small girls alone after the death of her husband, Charles Anderson, in WWII. It was nearly thirteen years until she married Franklin W. Morgan who passed in 1983. Her generous heart filled her home with love, fun and family. She had the gift to make people feel loved and lifted by her presence.
She is welcomed in heaven by her husbands, Charles and Franklin and her daughters, Joan and Barbara Lisa.
There will be a service held at the Trader Funeral Home Dover, DE Sunday August 27, 2017 5 Pm to celebrate Millie’s life. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.traderfh.com
