Michael Nicola LePore's Obituary
Michael N. LePore, 92 passed away on August 20, 2023, at Westminster Village Nursing Home in Dover Delaware. Born on February 4, 1931, he graduated from Allentown High School in Allentown PA, after high school he served with the Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. In his free time he enjoyed singing and playing guitar with several Country bands and with his family and friends. He also performed on local radio stations in the area. He worked for the Delaware State News as a printer, and retired from the City of Dover Power Plant in 1996 and upon retiring he worked as a seasonal employee for the State of Delaware for several years. Michael is proceeded in death by his parents Felice and Louise LePore and his siblings Mary Gehringer and Nicholas LePore. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Virginia LePore, his 5 children, Linda Crothers (Al), Rita Minner (Mark), Michael Lepore (Christine), Sandy Ebert (Rob), and Anthony LePore, as well as his 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, with 1 great grandchild due in January 2024. He is also survived by his siblings Angelo LePore (Mary), Harry LePore (Susie) and Anna Holsinger, his sister in law Margie Comegys (Robert) and brother in law Gary Anderson (Barbara). A service will be held Monday August 28, 2023 at 12 noon at Trader Funeral Home 12 Lotus Street Dover, visition will be from 10 AM to time of service. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery Dover.
