Michael David Capone's Obituary
Michael David Capone of Dover, born August 24, 1979, passed away suddenly on July 21, and is sadly missed by family and a great many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father David J. Capone; grandfather Jesse M. Bland, Jr; grandmother, Margie w. Bland; and uncle Jesse M. Bland III. Michael is survived by his mother Linda B. Capone and stepfather Peter Senft of Texas; sister Laura Capone Jones and her husband Jamar D. Jones; nephews and nieces Parker Jones, Chloe Jones, and Noah Jones, along with extended family members, neighbors and friends.
Michael attended Adelphi University where he studied lighting and sound, and worked at LandTek, a New York based general contracting company specializing in large site development, installation and maintenance.
His education began at a young age with his grandfather Jesse teaching him to drive his lawn tractor and do outdoor work that began a lifelong enjoyment in landscaping in many locations. He was known for helping neighbors, family and friends. Michael was an expert in lawn care and could fix just about anything, including plumbing, wiring, broken equipment and understood assembly instructions that stumped the average person. He pushed through on every project with dogged determination and made certain it was done right.
His always friendly manner, sense of humor, and never-give-up attitude will be fondly remembered and loved. Arrangements were made by Trader Funeral Home. A graveside memorial service is planned for December.
