Matthew James Long's Obituary
Matthew James Long gained his angel wings on September 23, 2016. His parents, Mark and Theresa Long and his big brother, Mark Jr.,
were blessed with Matthew on November 14, 2010. In addition to his parents and big brother, Matthew is survived by his Aunt Sherry
Foskey, Aunt Shirley Davis, Uncle Jeff Lepore, special cousins Dylan Lepore, Heather Milligan and numerous additional cousins. He is also
survived by his honorary Aunts Donna Carino and Alaina Cravens and his buddy, Barbara Ryan. He was predeceased in death by his
maternal grandparents, Jim and Wanda Mifflin; his paternal grandparents, Arnold and Betty Long Sr; and Uncles Dennis Foskey and Chip Long.
Matthew was the light of his Mom's life, best friend to his brother and Dad's little shadow.He loved to be barefoot and ride his bike. He never met an animal he didn't love. His imagination was bigger than he was. He loved to tell stories, jump on the trampoline and play with his Lego's.
He will forever be loved and missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing this precious little boy.
Services will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Trader's Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover, DE. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Service is at 1:00 p.m., with interment following at Barrett's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family would
prefer donations to the funeral home to help defray costs.
