Mary Catherine Friedline's Obituary
Dover – Mary C. Friedline, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Bayhealth Medical Center in Milford. Born April 19, 1938, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Wolfe.
Mary worked for over 10 years at Dover AFB in various roles and also at Walgreens. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, bowling, watching Nascar races and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid crafter and vendor and could always be found at the local craft shows.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Patti Hoffrage of Dover; a son, David Friedline and his wife Vickie of Chino Valley, AZ; four grandchildren; Paul Friedline of Harrington, Stephen Hoffrage of Camden-Wyoming, Tyler Hoffrage and his wife Samantha of Magnolia and Krysta Friedline of Chino Valley, AZ and six great grandchildren; Leah, Riley, Kennedy, Wyatt, Kyle and Peyton. She is also loved and remembered by extended family and close friends. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Arno H. Friedline Jr. and a son, Ronald W. Friedline.
Friends may call or visit with family from 6 to 7 pm Feb. 17, 2026 at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover. A private ceremony will be held at a later date at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear DE. 19701.
