Mary Bettie Appenzeller's Obituary
Mary E. (Bettie) Appenzeller daughter of Mary E. (Liz) and Frank Pursell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 13th 2018 in her home. Mrs. Appenzeller was born November 7th 1929 in Tullytown PA. Bettie is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Donald Clifford Appenzeller who passed away 21 years ago on November 14, 1997, her brothers Clinton, Frankie, Tommy, & Morris Pursell, her sister Eleanor Pursell. She loved her family and working with children. She loved painting porcelain dolls as a hobby. She is survived by her brother Jack Pursell and sister Gloria Hunter, three children Beth MacDonald, Mary Scott (Robert), and Donald Appenzeller Jr. (Mamie). Four grandchildren. Donny Appenzeller (Amy Taylor), Danny Cornell (Ann), Joey MacDonald (Sami), and Lizzy MacDonald as well as four great-grand-children Dustin, Emma and Taylor Appenzeller and Caden Cornell. Services will be at Trader Funeral Home in Dover on Saturday November 17th where friends may call at 12pm followed by the services at 1pm. Internment will be private.
