Martha M Evans' Obituary
Martha M. (Oliver) Evans, 84, of Washington Township, formerly of Dover, DE, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.
Born July 12, 1931 in Adrian, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Oliver.
Martha was a graduate of Kittanning High School, and enjoyed working on word search puzzles, and watching professional wrestling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Evans, Jr.; son-in-law, Kenneth Lightbody; sister, Carrie Arblaster; and brother, William Oliver.
Martha is survived by her children, Mary A. Lightbody of Washington Township, William J. (Dee) Evans of Washington Township, Martha “Jean” Barnes of Delaware, James E. Evans, III of Delaware, Charles “Chuck” Evans of Washington Township, Tim L. (Ana) Evans of Florida, Ruthie (Gleen) Young of TN; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; brother, John Oliver of Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. In Dover, friends and family may call Tuesday Dec. 22 at Trader Funeral Home 12 Lotus Street from 11 AM and service will be at 1 PM. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover, DE.
