I was very fortunate and blessed to have Marian as my mother-in-law. She made a big difference in my life and always provided wise advice and loving support through the many years. She was a good person through and through and devoted to her family. I will truly miss her. I am thankful for the fun times we had, mostly shopping and the delicious meals (and strawberry short cake) she made when we visited. I had a great mother-in-law and friend. May she walk peacefully with God.

I met Marian when I started working at the Division of Social Services on the Green back in 1974. She worked in the office with file cards. Joyce Ennis was her replacement when she retired and would regularly complain about the cards system and wished Marian would come back. Marian was a very warm and supportive person. Would see her when she attended the farewells for people she had worked with at the agency. I would like to offer my condolences to her family. Joan Barnwell (Bell)
