I met Marion at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover. In a conversation with her, I found out that her son, John, and my son, Justin Floyd, had been classmates and friends during their time at Dover High School. Marian came over and introduced herself to me when we moved into the neighborhood. She was so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about everything in the neighborhood, Dover and Delaware. She also took me under her wing in introducing me into her duplicate bridge club and I loved playing with her and she loved and was so good at bridge. She was smart and accomplished and a leader and a friend.

I have so many memories of Marian. We lived just a few homes from the Sisson’s in Fox Hall. Always involved in her community, serious about her role as a substitute teacher, a strong woman in every facet. Devoted mother, strong community leader. Well done Marian! God bless you!
