Margie Bland's Obituary
Margie W. Bland, 83, Dover, passed away Friday September 12, 2014 at KGH Bay Health Dover after a long illness.
She was born on January 13, 1931 in Church Hill, MD to the late Watson and Sally Buckle Wessel.
Margie graduated from Centerville High School in MD. She worked for the Delaware Division of Libraries for 25 years. She was very active in the PTA for East Dover Elementary School. She enjoyed volunteering to work the election polls. Loved to drive, travel, shopping for her grandchildren and eating out. She believed her children and grandchildren were her greatest achievements. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesse M. Bland, Jr. in 2003 Brothers Edward, Thomas and Allen Wessel Sister Betty W. Satterfield.
She is survived by Daughter, Linda B.(Peter Senft) Capone of Dover, DE. Son, Jesse M.(Deborah P.) Bland, III of Smyrna, DE. Grand child, Michael D. Capone of Dover, DE. Grand child, Laura(Jamar D.) Capone Jones of Elizabeth City, NC. Grand child, Eric M. Bland of Newark, DE. Grand child, Kyle J. Bland of Smyrna, DE. great Grand children, Parker Jones, Chloe Jones and Noah Jones of Elizabeth City, NC.
Services and interment will be private.
