Margaret Moor (Nutt), 78
DOVER - Margaret Elizabeth Nutt Moor passed away at home on Monday, January 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Margaret was born on December 20, 1939 in Marydel, DE, the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Elsie Mae (Thorpe) Nutt.
She graduated in 1957 from Dover High School. Margaret was hired for after school and summer work by U. L. Harman. In 1957 she went to work for Wood Construction where she met her future husband, Bill. Starting in 1959 Margaret spent the remainder of her career working for the Delaware State Police for 31 ½ years.
She enjoyed needlework, crossword puzzles, and oil and acrylic painting.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Raymond E. (Jr.) and Sarah Barnes Nutt.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of almost sixty years, William (Bill), her son Kevin and his wife Patricia, and two wonderful grandsons, Christopher and Brendan. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Catherine Moor Webb and Elizabeth Moor Luhrman, her brother-in-law Charles A. Moor III and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover, on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1 pm. A visitation will be held prior starting at 11 am. Interment will be at Sharon Hill Cemetery, Dover, following the service.
