Lynda Lee Foskett's Obituary
Dover, Del. – Lynda Lee Foskett passed away peacefully on Thursday April 21,2022 at Bayhealth Dover. Lynda was born in Tulsa Oklahoma the daughter of the late D.C Shelman and Sarah Jane (Barrow) Shelman. She began her career working as secretary at Reichold Chemicals, then accountant at Delaware Department of Transportation, finishing her career as accountant at Delaware Housing Authority. She also liked to read mystery especially Agatha Christie. She worked as Treasure of BSA Troop 24 for a number of years. She was an avid sports fan including Eagles, Phillies, and season ticket holder for the 76ers. She loved to travel especially on Cruise Ship. She was a member of St. Andrew Luther Church and served on Church Council. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Michael and Dennis Shelman. She is survived by her husband, Richard Foskett, Son Mark Foskett, Daughter-in-Jamie Foskett, four grandchildren Cassidy, Chloe, Quinn and River Foskett, three brothers, Paul, Warren and Carl Shelman. A Viewing will be held from 10:00 am with funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday April 27, 2022, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church 425 N Dupont Hwy, Dover, DE. Burial service will be at graveside at 1:30pm on Wednesday April 27, 2022 at Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery Frederick, DE In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to St Andrews Lutheran Church in Lynda’s name.
