Louise V. Crisco-Kulhanek's Obituary
Louise V. Crisco Kulhanek passed away on Friday, July 16th, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was proud to make it 90 years of age.
On November 25th, 1930, Louise was born in Denton, Maryland, to the late Merle and Florence Wilhelm. Her very first job was at a button factory in MD. She also worked at Richardson and Robbins Cannery and Playtex in Dover for many years. On April 24th, 1949, she married Stanley Crisco Sr. They were married 32 years when he passed away in 1982. Louise married Stanley Kulhanek on July 28th, 1984, and was known to him as “His Sweetie.”
Louise enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, fishing at her home in Virginia, gardening, and canning. She was known for her generosity towards others and willingness to always lend a helping hand. Louise also enjoyed decorating the various homes that she lived in.
In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Crisco Sr., siblings Merle Wilhelm Jr, Frank Wilhelm, Lawrence Wilhelm, Charles Wilhelm, William Wilhelm, Dolly Meredith, and Anna Pinder, and one grandchild. Louise is survived by her loving husband Stanley Kulhanek, son Stanley Crisco Jr. (Barbara) of Middletown, son Randy Crisco (Holly) of Dover, grandsons Timothy Crisco, Robert Crisco, and David Crisco, granddaughter Alex Crisco, several greatgrandchildren, siblings Hazel Longfellow, Mary Ann Longfellow (John Vincent), Barbra Hutson, Florence Sewell, and James Wilhelm, and niece Sandy Pallam.
A visitation will be held from 11 am-12 pm on Wednesday, July 21st, 2021, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE. Burial will take place after the service at Hopkins Cemetery in Felton, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to a personal favorite charity in her honor.
