Lisa M. Bishoff's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Lisa M Bishoff
Friend • Daughter • Wife • Mother • BaNana
We remember and celebrate the life of a woman who wore many hats and wore them well: a friend, dedicated daughter, wife, mother, and proud BaNana!
She was a skilled and respected medical assistant whose intuition and knowledge were so sharp, her longtime colleague Dr. Viola nicknamed her “Dr. Bishoff.” Known for her ability to assess and support patients even before they saw the doctor, she was a favorite among everyone who walked through that office.
Outside of medicine, she was a lifelong artist with a particular gift for pencil drawing, though her talents extended to photography, ceramics, and several other creative disciplines. Her work reflected both skill and attention to detail.
She also held a second-degree black belt and had a deep appreciation for martial arts, blending strength and discipline into her daily life. Raised on Papen Farm, she never lost her love for the outdoors or her natural connection to animals of all kinds. She had a soft spot for every creature and was always happiest surrounded by the beauty of nature.
A true outdoorswoman, she enjoyed kayaking, fishing, crabbing, and anything involving the water—especially if it ended with a seafood dinner. And for those lucky enough to sit at her table, her homemade pizza was legendary.
Her presence will be missed, and her contributions to family, work, art, and nature will be remembered fondly.
Lisa was preceded by her father Leon Prescott, her father-in-law Dr. R.J. Bishoff,
her mother-in-law Dorothy Bishoff and her Son-in-law Joeseph Sherman.
Services will be held at Conley’s Chapel on Conley’s chapel Rd. Lewes Delaware 19958
