Linda May Marvel's Obituary
Linda May Marvel, 77, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023 following a prolonged illness.
Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in her garden, and with her dogs and horses. She loved long phone conversations with her sisters. She enjoyed time spent in bible study at Avenue United Methodist Church, going to horseshows and entering culinary contests at the Delaware State Fair. She was a lifetime member of Little Creek Fire Company Ladies Auxillary.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David M. Marvel, and her daughter, Dee Ann Mason. She is survived by her sons, Michael Marvel and Richard (Beth) Marvel, son-in-law William Mason, 6 grandchildren (Analeesa, Michael, Lisa, Becky, David and Amber (Jean)), as well as 5 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Avenue United Methodist Church (20 Church St. Milford, DE 19963) on September 25, 2023. Visitation will take place at 10 a.m., with services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will occur at Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro, DE at 1 p.m. A reception will follow at Avenue United Methodist Church.
Flowers may be sent to Avenue United Methodist Church, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of David Marvel and Dee Ann Mason. Letters of condolences may be sent to http://www.traderfh.com
