"I will not leave you comfortless" : I will come to you. JOHN 14:18
Many years have passed since I last saw Mrs. Plummer, but the warm, smiling eyes were the same throughout her life. She was a woman of strength, passion, generosity and joy with a kind and gentle spirit. We shared a love of painting. She gave me some cherished art books before I headed off to Syracuse University. One was a book on how to make your own oil paints, the other was a classic, “The Natural Way to Draw.”I later realized that both of them were on my syllabus! I was amazed at how she knew that in “Life Before Digital.”
Mrs. Plummer loved and was well-loved. Full of Grace. I am sorry for your loss.

Mommom Plummer, thank you for taking us to dig for shark teeth before school had taught us about fossils. Thank you for teaching us about all the flowers in the garden, how to squeeze the snap dragon petals to open the mouth, and placing me under the bush of white flowers, shaking it to make it snow in the middle of the summer. Thank you for keeping my winnie the pooh cup in the kitchen cupboard long after I had grown up.
Just like you loved our adventures to Bombay Hook to observe the wild life, and your adventure to Spain years ago to see your son's running with the bulls, I am sure you are just as excited on your journey to the eternal life, reunited with Poppop Plummer in painless peace. Love, Jamie
