Leonard R Zentz's Obituary
Leonard Ray Zentz, age 60, of Millsboro, Delaware, was surrounded by family as he went to be with the Lord after a sudden illness on February 15, 2019.
Len was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 27, 1958. He was a graduate of William Tyndale College 1981. He was a long time employee at Home Depot in Lewes, DE. He enjoyed reading and collecting rare American flags, arrowheads, antiques, glassware, and knives. He enjoyed road trip traveling and visiting his family who live in various states.
Len is survived by his loving parents Raymond and Doris (Schermerhorn) Zentz. He has four children: Alysa Dawn Sawyer (Shane), Jennifer Leigh Diego (Joe), Jared Morgan Zentz (Kellie), and Tara Lynae Gonzalez (Ian). Len loved his grandchildren very much. His grandchildren are Kendal Sawyer, Audrey Sawyer, Kaleb Sawyer, Madyson Diego, Makenzie Diego, Morgan Diego, Elijah Gonzalez and two foster grandchildren Ashton and Benjamin. He is survived by Great Aunts Carol Young and Patricia Malen. He has three siblings: Adele Cox (John), Elaine Zentz, and Philip Zentz (Debi). He has several nephews, nieces, cousins, and other extended family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, DE on Thursday-February 21, 2019 at 11:00 am.
