Judith Jude Crawford's Obituary
Judith "Jude" Crawford died peacefully of natural causes in her home on April 7, 2015 in Dover, Delaware, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 57.
Ms. Crawford was born on October 01, 1957 in Jersey City, New Jersey to her parents, John and Marie Crawford. She graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College with a degree in Computer Technology in 2000. She worked in the Road Design division for the Delaware Department of Transportation.
Jude enjoyed her work as well as her hobbies; baking and decorating cakes, crocheting, gardening and dedicating time to her family, especially to her grandchildren and their activities. Jude was a terrific friend, mother and grandmother and she will be truly missed by all of her family.
Ms. Crawford is survived by her spouse, Bruce Johnston of Dover, Delaware; her sons, Christopher Miller and Jason Miller; her brothers, John Crawford and Richard Crawford; her sister, Marie Dee; her nieces, Diana Lewis, Holly Berry, Gillian and Jessica Crawford; and ten grandchildren, Garrett, Joseph, Caroline, Jack, Frank, Chris, Ben, Dan, George and Henry Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Crawford.
A memorial will take place on April 12 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Trader's Funeral Home in Dover. A funeral will take place on April 13 at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Dover. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ms. Crawford's life. Ms. Crawford will be buried in a private ceremony following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center in Newark, Delaware.
